At Töllstorp you will find a living museum where the water wheels are still spinning and the old workshops are operational. It’s just like in the old days. At Töllstorp you will be taken for a guided tour through a beautiful river valley. You get to visit wooden buildings from the beginning of the 19th century.
The guides will tell you the history of each building, about manners and customs, and also show you the workshops in action. You will participate in wire drawing, making pot handles, whisks, springs for mouse
traps, hair pins, safety pins, bridle-bits, spring safety hooks and pastry shapes. All these products are for
sale as souvenirs. Furthermore you will get a chance to spin wire mesh. In the water powered mill you can grind flour. Töllstorp has its own water driven power station, which delivers electrical power for the whole museum.
